We talked to the winner of the Pharmachat competition, Roxana Nica, Resident Pharmacist at Cluj-Napoca Clinical Emergency Hospital for Children, who gave us valuable insight into how this innovative application has fully changed the landscape of medicines information in Romania.
THE OPPORTUNITY TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE PROFESSIONALIZATION OF THE MEDICAL ENVIRONMENT
The key question of the interview was what motivated the user to enter the Pharmachat contest. Roxana Nica exposed us that the Apollo AI Technologies team is the only one that pays attention to medical specialists: “Being a pharmacist, I resonated with the fact that the Apollo Technologies team was the only one to organize a competition for healthcare professionals, who were, unfortunately, ignored most of the time.”
It is worth noting that the winner continued to use Pharmachat after the end of the competition, stressing that “it is a good means to constantly inform yourself about new molecules that appear on the pharmaceutical market, to check drug interactions of different categories of patients with polymedication, patients who are sometimes not explained by the attending physician these possible drug interactions and the risk to which they may be exposed”.
This shows us the added value that the app offers to healthcare professionals. Users can constantly inform themselves about new molecules and check for drug interactions.
FAST AND EFFICIENT ACCESS TO INFORMATION
Pharmachat is a useful tool in providing information. “The Pharmachat application contributes to improving access to information about medicines authorized in Romania through a well-structured database, easy to interrogate, with well-established filters, which are suitable for spontaneous use”, said Roxana Nică.
Asked about the benefits brought by Pharmachat, Roxana highlighted “the clarity of the information presented for each drug, their accessibility for any social category” and the quick response time of the application. With an attractive and intuitive design, Pharmachat manages to provide complex information in an easy-to-understand way.
Another notable aspect of the interview was highlighting the difference between Pharmachat and other sources of information about medicines in Romania. The application “mentioned is based on a natural interaction, in the form of a dialogue with its users and free from informational errors”.
Pharmachat is not only a source of information, but also becomes a reliable partner for healthcare professionals in Romania. With a focus on clarity, efficiency and interactivity, the app continues to exceed expectations and make a significant contribution to improving medical practice.
Pharmachat was created by the Romanian company Apollo AI Technologies, specialized in developing professional applications based on artificial intelligence, and with the support of partner Alphega Pharmacy is made available to all healthcare professionals, free of charge.
