Diabeta was present on March 14-16 at the event dedicated to professionals in specialties such as diabetes, nutrition and metabolic diseases, cardiology, endocrinology, nephrology, neurology, International Conference on Interdisciplinary Management of Diabetes Mellitus and its Complications (INTERDIAB).
The Diabeta team participated in INTERDIAB to provide healthcare professionals with assistance in testing and using the chatbot of diabetologists. At the Diabeta stand, doctors were able to give live demonstrations of the app’s functionalities, and the Diabeta team present answered questions about how to use it, for all interested doctors.
Diabeta is a complex platform, dedicated to diabetologists and not only, which answers questions about available treatments for diabetes. The chatbot provides information from official diabetes guidelines and protocols, the SmPCs of medicines available in Romania, in the form of text messages, but also generating the PDF fragment from the document from which the information was extracted. In fact, being an innovative chatbot, Diabeta allows users to ask voice questions, to which they answer in the same manner, also by voice.
Diabeta was developed by a Romanian company, Apollo AI Technologies, specialized in developing professional applications based on artificial intelligence. The app is made available to doctors in professional medical communities run by Oameni si Companii, with the support of partners Novo Nordisk, Boehringer Ingelheim and Medtronic. The application is available free of charge for doctors and can be accessed based on a user account that can be requested on the www.diabeta.ro.
